The Forceris^TM group had a statistically significant higher bodyweight gain from day 0 to day 14 (p=0.0043) and from day 0 to day 21 (p=0.0043).

The Forceris^TM group (n=13 piglets) was treated with 1.5 mL of Forceris^TM (200 mg iron-gleptoferron, 45 mg toltrazuril per piglet), the Iron Dextrangroup (n=12) with 1 mL of commercial injectable iron (200 mg iron dextran), both intramuscularly on day 2 of life.

Days of life were equal to study days. Blood samples were collected before treatment on day 2, day 18 and day 31.

No anaemic piglets with FORCERIS^TM

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:

Toltrazuril 30mg, Iron 133.4mg (as Gleptoferron 20% Fe).

DOSE & ADMINISTRATION:

The recommended dose per piglet is 1.5mL/animal in one single intramuscular injection behind the ear and administered between 24hrs to 96hrs after birth.

WITH HOLDING PERIOD:

MEAT – DO NOT USE less than 63 days before slaughter for human consumption

ESI:

Do not use less than 70 days before slaughter
